BrookTrout Designs was established by respected AV industry veterans Ben Shemuel and Gene Masserini, whose knowledge, integrity, and commitment to clients helped shape the firm's foundation. Ben remains connected as a consulting resource, while Gene's legacy continues to influence the company's values and approach.

Mark Thompson joins
Mark Thompson joined as a senior design consultant and later became principal designer and owner. With more than two decades as owner and lead system designer of a successful design-build AV and control systems integration firm, he brings a rare combination of consulting insight and hands-on implementation knowledge.
